What Is The Goodwater Project?

The Goodwater Project is the transformation of 64.7 acres of USDA certified, unrestricted, raw land into a state of the art, breath-taking vacation destination.

Located in Clay County, AL, 70 miles southeast of Birmingham and two hours southwest of Atlanta, GA, the Goodwater Project is located on lush, vital forestland with two creeks and a natural hot spring. Goodwater, AL, formerly known as Adkins Gap is “known as Goodwater because of its location near the spring that is the source of Hatchett Creek.” In the late 1800’s, Goodwater, AL was a busy hub for the Central of Georgia Railroad for its route from Birmingham to Columbus, GA.

Artsy, eco-friendly, and spectacular describe the transformation of the land. All developments will be performed with respect to maintaining a portion of its natural habitat and resources.
