There are a number of campsites within Stewart Creek park. The sites include covered picnic tables and fire pits with grates for cooking out. This is a beautiful park located on a point on Lake Lewisville and just across from Pier 121 marina. The only issue you might have with the park is that there are not a large number of trees. There is a great restroom facility in the park and a large number of recreational activities. Loud party music from the pier right in front of the park beach. Party music none stop even after 1:00 am, yes it’s now passed 1am, and I can’t sleep. I don’t know when this is going to end. The camp ground offers No shower, the only toilet closes at 8:45. After that only the plastic toilet is accessible. Bright light shine over the camp ground. A good park for the day, but as campground it’s terrible for the night.
Not a good place for diversity. Guard constantly beams his vehicles light on you all through the night. It’s 5 AM now. My kid has been uncomfortable all night. I guess this is the best one can expect after paying taxes for 20 years. I hope the guard/s and mgmt mend their ways.
They have added self service boat rental. The place remain crowded round the year.
