Minutes from the campground, downtown Grapevine offers a variety of entertainment venues, restaurants, and fun for all ages.
Stay here for a month every year in RV while wife works for operation Christmas child. Great place . New rule this year . no refunds if you leave early. Makes it hard if job finishes up a few days early and have to eat those at 60 bucks a day. But staff and CG is great!!
This is truly one of our favorite RV campgrounds, we have been taking our boys here since 2019 and usually stay here about 3-4 times a year. Staff is always amazing, facilities are super clean, playground is really cool right on the lake and there’s always fun things like ice cream or donuts.
This is one of our top 3, if not THE best park we have enjoyed since we began RV'ing. The spaces we were around were very well spaced out, all at different angles to maximize the view of the waterfront and marina. There are other sites that run parallel to the road, and I'm not sure we would feel so good about this place had we stayed there. From an outsider perspective, all the rigs looked parked in a front to back line. A good mix of people traveling through or coming to camp for the weekend, and no permanent residents. Puppy point was a fantastic dog area where the dogs could play without getting muddy, even after it rained! Our site was wide, long, flat and very spacious with plenty of yard room for outdoor activities. The park has some amazing amenities, but we did not get a chance to use them during our stay. They include bikes, boat craft, golf carts and more. Modest store with everything you would need. Reasonable wifi when it wasn't congested, and fantastic Starlink service with acceptable T-Mobile. Verizon and Dish Genesis were both pretty unusable, T-Mobile 4g was meh, and T-mobile 5g, while not the fastest we've seen, was respectable. Camp staff was all very friendly, and package delivery was super easy. We camped at The Vineyards Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.
We spent a week here in January and enjoyed it. The site was spacious and convenient to Dallas and Fort Worth. We enjoyed visiting the shops and restaurants in Grapevine too. It's a great campground and we would stay here again, but the only small negative were the showers that need to be updated.
We stayed 1 night. Just passing through. The site we were assigned (#69) was a newly poured pad. This pad has about 14in fall over 30 feet making it impossible to get our camper leveled. We have stayed in 100s of campgrounds and boondocks and never ran into this issue. We called the office and luckily they were able to get us in an older spot that was very level and easy to get into. Thats where the friendly staff ended. The next day before our 12 check out time the maintenance staff were hovering over us like buzzards waiting for us to leave. At 10:45 we received a call from the office letting us know our check out time was noon and the staff didnt see movement. The hovering and dirty looks continued as we packed up to leave. As we pull out at 12pm sharp and before we could get completely pulled out of the site. A golf cart with the dirty looker comes whipping in behind us to inspect the site. Needless to say we will not return. If you are planning on staying here make sure to ask for an older site.
The new ones they are currently installing look to all have been poured by a guy with one short leg.
