The lake is too low for the Rock quarry to be any fun.

Large parking area right off highway, bit of a drop so take it slow. Actual campground closed for covid. Nice view of lake.

Went with family. Quiet, peaceful, and secluded. Only complete is that there was no running water. Would be perfect if we didnt have to carry gallons in for showers, dish washing, etc.

Water is way to low at amistad so the swimming dock is out the water or unuseable. The restrooms are infested with black mud bees. There is no running water or electricity at rock quarry and you have to phone in the reservation 48 hours in advance and if you do not do that they tell you it's already been reserved but in reality it is not reserved and the place is empty when you drive or take your boat in to that cove. Waste of resources at Amistad.
