We’ve been here every year for the last 10 years and it’s always been great! During the 2021 winter storm (now!) where most of Texas went out of power and water (running water and bottled water at the store), the manager dropped off a case of water for each camper because they had to reset the water system. Outstanding service and kind consideration!

This is a hidden little Texas gem... great location and full hook-up RV sites! All the sites have great views of lake Amistad and are well maintained. My wife and I recently stayed here for 4 nights after a trip to Seminole Canyon State Park and loved it! John and his entire Southwind's Marina/Laughlin AFB MWR team were outstanding and really went out of their way to make our stay exceptional... Thank you to all! Their outstanding service, support, and great facilities are a true gift to all those who have served in our Military and their families. We live in San Antonio and plan on returning as soon as we can.

Nice and quiet campground. Sites are all pull thru, paved, have a large concrete patio with shade, a table and fire pit. Lots of amenities for an excellent price. Sunset over the lake is gorgeous.

Beautiful, quiet and very relaxing place! Staff very nice and friendly! My husband and I and our dog lady stayed in site #20. We could enjoy the view beautifully from our sites. All sites are roomy and staggered. So every site could enjoy the view. Water very blue and clean.

Nice area to view. Walked and drove around. Saw wildlife. Everything was closed.
