Stayed in cabin 21 this past weekend and it was awful. There were rats inside the cabin, and rat poop everywhere! We had to throw away a ton of food that was ruined! The entire unit was old and outdated. They definitely make these look a lot better online than they look in person! Don’t be fooled!
Helen is amazing and we love to be there to deal with her. Thank you for everything and all the lovely treatments we received from you.

We love this place. It's so peaceful. The cabins I stay are rustic, and I can take my pups.
We have been coming to Neal’s for years. This was our last time. The cabin was horrible. The lock was broken on the front door. The A/C unit had black mold inside so we did not use it. The old worn out couch was so uncomfortable we could barely sit on it. No other chairs so we sat on our lawn chairs.
They were allowing kids, obviously way under the age of 16 to drive golf carts which was out of hand and dangerous because one person was almost hit by a cart. There is no security down by the river which was a crazy free for all. Minors drinking and acting obnoxious. Definitely a battle of the bands while everyone playing all their different styles of music. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Great place to stay. Great location, and our cabin looked right out onto the Frio. Was too cold to be in the water but was a great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
