We have 280 acres for private hiking on trails and off trails
You are surrounded by mountains, Chinati Mountains, Sierra Madre Mountains and Cleveland Mountains.
Out camp sight is very remote, located 6 miles from the village of Ruidosa and 40 miles from the nearest town where there are groceries and gas.
Only one camping place provided, so you will have the entire property to enjoy…total peace and solitude.
Primitive camping with no facilities.
Turn off Hwy 170 just pass the village of Ruidosa. Chinati Hot Springs sign at turn off to Hot Springs Rd.
Go 5.5 miles up Hot Springs Rd.
Locked gate with 2 mosaic signs reading Chinati Mountain Retreat.
Open gate go down hill, across the arrow and up hill to closed green gate.
Campsite is to the left of green gate near telephone pole.
Ghost lights that can't be chased down, no matter how hard (and drunk) I tried.
