Good people but No cell service and GPS doesn't work out here. I suggest you come well before dark because I got super lost and it was scary. They literally had to send a search party for me. No joke!

There is an amazing view from the top of the mountains. They are off the road and at the bottom of Van Horn Mountains. Lots of camp sites to choose from. Bring your tent, or RV. New sites have been put in that over look the canyon. Constant improvements being done all around. Nice hiking up to the caves. Night sky is also amazing. On a clear night you can see the milky way. They have restrooms and shower available but keep in mind they are off grid. Very pleasant host who will answer any questions you have and help find a site you will love. Phone service is hit and miss depending on where you are and what service you have. They even have mini golf course. They have horse shoes going and even more to come. They even have a camper you can rent if you don't wanna tent camp.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The canyon was great. The hostess was nice and explained a lot of the features. It was a colder night, so the water was off to the showers to keep the pipes safe from bursting, but everything else was great!

This is a gorgeous off the beaten path place to camp that I will be coming to anytime I am in the area. It is a rustic campsite with no hookups, but it is the perfect place to boondock. 90% paved roads, until the entry. Short dirt road drive, It is a bit bumpy but perfectly fine for my class A motor home. The camp spots are dispersed and well spaced. Many camp fire spaces, archery, hiking, solar showers. The owner and the groundskeeper were both extremely nice. I stayed an extra day as it was the perfect place to let my dog stretch her legs on our cross country drive. I felt extremely safe as a female traveling and staying alone.
