Beautiful ranch with tremendous hospitality. Our church group had an incredible time here away from it all. The kindness and enthusiasm of the staff was over the top. The food was incredible! The peace was perfect. Thank all of you so very much.

The location was convenient, quiet, and clean. The kids loved the trail ride and there were great views. The RV spots are a bit small/close together, but there was no one on either side of us so it didn't really bother us, plus we weren't at the camper much due to sight seeing. Our drive through the mountains to McDonald observatory was gorgeous. We also visited nearby Fort Davis Historic site which was very informative and educational for my children. The Prude Ranch staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area. Due to the very remoteness of Fort Davis prices at the town grocery store are quite expensive so plan ahead and bring what you need.

We spent the morning on a 2 hour horseback ride. There were only four in the group. Check in was a cinch. The two young ladies who led the ride were extremely polite and accommodating. The horses were in great shape. I don't like horses and still had a good time . We'll do this again when we come back.

We spent two nights this week and really enjoyed the relaxing views and activities. Emma led both trail rides and she is a terrific young lady. Continental breakfast was basic and satisfying. If going to Alpine, I recommend the Spicewood restaurant. We'll be back when it warms up and bring our grandchildren!
