We love this stop as it has shaded and covered picnic areas with trash cans close by and some have grills (see pics). The restrooms are clean and well maintained.
Texas has very few rest areas on I-10 West from San Antonio to El Paso, but they are clean and well kept.
Wonderful place to stop! Very clean, safe, and very beautiful! Restroom, water fountain, picnic tables, and they also have a separate water spicket in case you need to fill up water jugs! Lots of room. Big nice trees for shade.
Nice safe rest area to stretch & rest up before heading further east. Bathrooms with "mirrors" ! Green area with trees. Easy highway entry & exit.
There are two precious cats who appear to be lost and dumped by their owner. The rest stop attendant said they have been here one month. We tried to catch them with food but were unsuccessful. If you can help them, please do!
