I would say’s it’s more like an Airbnb Rv park if bringing your own airstream I saw some reviews that criticized the only text communication with the on site owners but that is how most Airbnbs work as it’s really on their home site so relax and it’s very clean quiet and close to town
The airstream was in perfect condition and the views are amazing. Stars are stunning. Mike and Shelley the hosts are creating a great, mellow community. They’ve got a pool table, board games, bbqs, and a club house.
We definitely love it at Marfa Yacht Club, and so much so we stopped here again on our way back to CA. Great level (and covered) sites with good utilities and WiFi. Even in the snow storm and 12 degree temperatures this week, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy all that Marfa has to offer. Bring your bikes and ride to town just minutes away.
Great privately owned Airstream only campground. They are still in the process of adding new sites and amenities. The cell signals on Verizon and AT&T were strong. It is only a mile to downtown Marfa which is fun to explore. The only negative was a very friendly dog of another guest which was off leash and poop was not picked up in the area. Our dogs get very distracted with loose dogs and was a pain to get them to do their business. But that will be a departing issue. We will definitely stop again when passing through.
Airstream oriented with friendly ownership and close proximity to downtown Marfa. Nice hookup setups, level concrete pads with covered weather shelters for rigs; class act!
