When we originally got there things were great in spot 12 but half way through our stay they made up pack everything up and move spots to spot 1 so someone in a van could take our spot. We later found out that the person who got our spot had been there before and knew the spot they had been given had terrible internet service. I guess they were a more valuable customer than us. The management is disgustingly inconsiderate and clearly doesn’t care about the inconveniences we went through so someone else could have our better spot. I work remote and ended up taking a week without pay because of the sudden lack of internet. We’ve reached out requesting a partial refund but we’re ignored. Avoid this place unless you’re a rude middle aged women in a mini van. If that description is you, this is the place for you! They’ll cater to your every need no matter how other customers have suffer to suffer to make you happy!

Nice small park. Good club house with very clean showers. Sun rise and set views great with the surrounding Mtns

Mile high elevation keeps it cooler. 6.5 miles to Alpine and 80 to Big Bend attractions. Beautiful mountains

Location is great and price is good too. Even the wifi is top notch, when it does work. Neighbors are nice and quiet too, however, there is a clear feeling that if you're not a friend of the owner and/or host, you're not all that welcome. If you are lucky enough to book online, show up and have no issues at all with your site, it's 5 stars. If you have to report any issue or want to modify your reservation and you're not a friend of the owner/host, beware. I simply wanted to extend my stay but was told I had to move spaces to accommodate other guests who had booked my original site. That's not a problem with me, I can understand that just fine, so I moved. No one came to stay at the original site. I further reported a problem with the electrical outlet at the new site and was ignored.

Lesson learned: if you can stick with your original plan and have no issues with facilities/amenities, it's a fantastic place. If you aren't a personal friend of the owner and/or camp host, better hope you have no problems.

Not much here in way of amenities but the scenery is beautiful. Only 8 miles north of Alpine and 100 miles from Big Bend Park. 25 miles from Marfa. Alpine has pretty much everything you need.
