We stayed there 3 nights ago and it was so quiet. Nothing fancy, kind of like a lot behind the owner’s house, but it was peaceful and a good price. The owner is very nice too. We are 60 feet long between the motor home and the towing trailer and we pulled in and parked at the back end just fine. Easy in, easy out. The bonus is the water is fantastic!! I washed my hair and it was so soft afterwards.
We were shocked to see the place after seeing a composite score of 4.6. We have stayed at decently rated campgrounds and this is not one. Electricity, water, sewer and close to I-10 is all it has going for it.
Nice, quiet rv park, reasonably priced. Gina gave us pecans from her tree. Good level sites with nobody next door! We were able to let our dogs stretch their legs without too much worrying.
Roger's is truly a gem! It's a few blocks from the highway so it's VERY peaceful and feels very safe.
I was able to let my puppy roam around without the fear of her running into traffic and she enjoyed playing with the owners dogs everyday.
The owner is an absolute sweetheart. She gave us a bunch of farm fresh eggs on the first night we stayed and invited us to sit and relax on her patio and chat where we all got to know eachother.
We had full hook-ups with 50amp electric for a very attractive rate and we were able to pull through our 52 ft set up at the end of the lot.
There aren't amenities like laundry yet but Gina has big plans for the property and she's already made improvements like adding a beautiful mural to the front for easy visibility.
Staying at Ropers is like staying at a relatives house out in the country. She goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Thank you, Gina!!
Stay here! This was a perfect spot for us to pull off the highway and get some rest. The owner, Gina, is so nice and welcoming. Full hook up for $30/night. Quiet part of town so you’re not hearing road noise which we were thankful for. We will definitely be back when we pass through this area again.
