Check in was simple at the store. They charged me per night as customary for a full hookup site. I was the only one there other than the permanent resident at the far end of the area. It was peaceful and quiet and a wonderful place to bird and walk and enjoy the stars at night. It's a bit primitive camping but the full hookups allowing to connect my a/c was wonderful. The road is unpaved for most of the way but just drive slow and you and your RV should be find.
Absolutely picturesque place, the drive there was exhilarating, the people were so great, and helpful. Great place to go to cool off this summer.
This isn't much of a lake for most places. But for this neck of the desert it is pretty awesome. It does have a restroom but it is only one and most of the picnic areas are in need of repairs. But there are many beautiful sunsets to be enjoyed here.
Not sure why but there were tons of dead fish all along the shore. Rotten smell. I counted 52 just by my campsite. Tons of trash and things aren't well kept at all. The lake is pretty but everything else ruined my stay.
Great camping site. Quiet and great view of the stars. I am only giving a 4 star because there was a dead cow in the field an it really stunk....
