I grew up going to this park with my brother and dad. We would fish and cook out and drink from the nearby spring (even though you're not supposed to 🫡). This place holds a lot of memories. Haven't had too much success as an adult fishing here but the trails are nice and is always nice to visit.
Great trails to get a good long hike in. Varying terrain to keep it fun. Most are along a creek, and there's a lot of different foliage. Lots of benches to rest. Picnic areas, playground and rest rooms.
Nice trails that overlook the creek. Not enough trail signs and many trails overlap and double back. Several hikers we spoke too were lost. Maps posted spordacticly but no markings on where on map you are. We started on the ghost hedge trail but crissed crossed the horse trail and a skiing trail? Ended up walking about four miles instead of the 2.5 loop we set out on. Several places have wooden bridges over the creek but out of the six we crossed only one was solid. The others were soft including the rails on the side. Also several large trees had fallen on the wooden stairs and trails that need removed. Dog friendly which was nice.
