We checked in 10/20/23. We were assigned site 505. We could not fit into the site and open all of our slide outs. Oliver, our escort, tried to help us and agreed we could not fit. He radioed the office and first was told the manager was busy delivering ice. He radioed again and we all heard the manager’s loud voice state they do not switch sites on check in day. I got on the koa app and saw they had 11 open sites for the weekend. Confused, we pulled our rig back around to the office to attempt to salvage our trip. Again, the office was advised not to move us but to refund our stay. Sad. We have been KOA members for years. I’ve never been treated quite like this before. I never raised my voice, swore, or acted crazy. We just quietly left and went to another KOA that appreciates customers.
What an amazing family friendly campground! When you first pull in to check in your met by their friendly staff. The camp ground is beautiful and CLEAN!
The deluxe site is the way to go! They have everything you need, nice big space with a beautiful concrete pad . But they go above and beyond and have a table and umbrella 2 rocking chairs a fire pit and a grill!!! This was such a nice treat for us not to have to unpack so much since this was a quick stay on our state to state journey.
Now on to the kids ! They have so much for them to do even without planned activities.
The animal corals, the lake with the inflatable obstacle course( Bonus ** they don't charge extra for it) they have great play areas with 2 jumping pads and my sons favorite the zip line! They have a pool and little splash pad. (We didn’t use those because my son loved the lake).
Location is perfect, so much to do within in 30 min. We went to the zoo. But honestly there was plenty to do at the campground without having to leave .
Thank you for the great stay!
We rented this magical cabin/truck for a quick family getaway, and it was magical! The place was so neat and well organized. From kids' playgrounds, swimming pool, and other water feature areas for fishing or boating! And oh, a very pet friendly camping site.. employees are so nice, and they took care of the camp site very well.. we will really recommend and love to come back! Took more beautiful photos and can't wait to share it with friends and family to show.. ❤️
