This has always been a fantastic park for bike riding and hiking. I have been going to this park since I was a young kid, I remember when I was about 10 years old my family biked 20 miles from Macedonia to Valleyview on this towpath and it was truly a great experience that I’ll never forget! Enjoy history, good scenery, wildlife, and more.
Nice place to park to start a bike ride on the Towpath Trail. The lot is fairly large and there are restrooms. It seems that the hours for the Canal Exploration Center are quite limited and vary by season, so be sure to check into that before stopping if you're interested in going inside.
Towpath connecting Cleveland and Akron. Eather walking, running or biking, it's just good. Check out all the "Locks" on the way
The Canal Exploration center is five minutes from our house. Very beautiful and lots to explore.
