From US 22 & US 68: Go 6-1/4 mi S on US 68, then 2 mi W on SR 350, then N 3/4 mi on Yankee Rd.
My family has been coming to Beechwood Acres Camping Resort for close to 20 years and we enjoy this campground immensely. The owner has gone out of her way to make her campground a place where kids and adults can have a great experience. She also makes it a point to provide clean facilities to her guests as well. This campground is amongst the cleanest that I have visited!
The previous reviewer made a claim that this campground was loud after hours. She must have been staying elsewhere because we saw the band end around 11pm and everyone left the gathering place and went back to their campers or visited with friends at their campsites. There was no organized music during quite hours.
Our family recommends Beechwood Acres Camping Resort to anyone who wants to enjoy their pool, playground, music events, and holiday fun.
My daughter and son-n-law camp there all the time. It's a campsite, it also has small cabins to rent. My husband and I were there for a night to relax and party. They had a good band and we danced most of the night. It was good people and lots of fun!
I have been to many campgrounds all over the U.S. This is by far the best! It's super clean! Its very beautifully kept, The Pool is awesome. The campers are super friendly. I have been camping at Beechwood for at least 18 years. I have
raised up my grandkids camping and they love Beechwood Acres. My oldest Granddaughter learned to walk at this campground and
is now 15 years old and she still loves to camp at Beechwood Acres. Also check out all the beautiful flowers in the spring and summer. Also the great Halloween decorations in the fall. Great place!!!
First time here, perfect stay! We've been to many campgrounds for tent/yurt/cabin camping, some good, some bad. The second we pulled into this one, we knew it was a good one. You can tell immediately the owners care about this place. Everything's very neat, tidy, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in the yurt (their only one). Plenty of room inside and out, comfy for four of us, and we slept very well! It was during the week, so we enjoyed relative quiet both nights. From the campground office, it's a five minute walk to the beach on the lake. We definitely picked the right place!
This is one of the nicest campgrounds my family and I have ever been to. Out of all the campgrounds we have visited in Ohio this is one of the cleanest and well maintained parks available. The shower houses are clean and the restrooms are constantly maintained to insure they are also clean and well stocked. The staff are always setting up events and bands to provide entertainment to campers. The other campers are friendly and inclusive too! The pool is great, good for kids and adults to cool off on hot days. Overall I would highly recommend Beechwood Acres to anyone. Whether you have small kids or just adults you'll have a good time.
