Located 50 miles from Cleveland, and 27 miles from Akron. From I-80 (Ohio Turnpike) take exit 209 to S.R. 5 west. Go 5 miles to S.R. 225 and make left (south). Cross RR tracks and make left onto Minyoung Road, 1 mile on right. From I-76 take exit 48, S.R. 225 north. Go 5 miles to Minyoung Road and make right, 1 mile on right.
There are showers and electricity for those with campers. Some areas could use some updates. But knowing it's for camping one shouldn't expect the red carpet treatment.
They do treat non-profit organizations well!
Was a nice campground. The staff were nice. Quiet and had a great kids zone. We did primitive camping which was nice and secluded. I think next time we're going to get a cabin. So we can bring the pups. Will be going back next summer for sure. Thanks for a lovely 2 days.
Took the family here for a getaway. This place is amazing. Jeffery and Sherry were very helpful. Our kids loved the campground. The pool was great. The snack bar was amazing. Our cabin was clean and beautiful. The fact that we could bring the dog was a big big plus. The dog park was nice. The jumping pillow splash park ,lake and playground kept the kids busy. We rented a golf cart and had fun driving around looking at the campground. Definitely would recommend Country acres!!! Thank you all!
Nice little camp ground. Has a lot to do for families and children. The salt water pool was amazing. Only wish they had more spots, they have a lot of seasonal but not so much nightly. There were 2 weekends that we tried to get and they were both booked so we have to go elsewhere. We also rented a golf cart which was easy and nice to drive around.
I have stayed in the cabins as well as my travel trailer. This place is 100% family focused and TONS of fun. We just attended the trick or treat weekend and had so much fun!!! Great costumes from all ages. Complete strangers became friends in a matter of hours. I highly recommend Country Acres for a getaway.
