Was easy to book over the phone, we needed an overnight to continue west and it served its purpose, it is basically alot of parking lot with rv's packed in pretty good. But it served its purpose, their photos show what ya get .
One of the standout aspects of this Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve was the exceptional service provided by the property manager, Jonathan. Not only did he welcome us with a smile, but he also took the time to familiarize us with the local area, providing valuable information about nearby grocery stores and restaurants. His kindness and willingness to assist made us feel right at home.
As pet owners, we were delighted to find that our furry companion was also welcomed to at this RV park. The property offered plenty of opportunities for leisurely walks, and our dog absolutely loved exploring the surroundings. The peaceful ambiance and beautiful natural setting provided the perfect backdrop for our relaxing strolls together.
During our stay, we encountered a storm that resulted in brief power outages. However, Jonathan the property manager quickly sprang into action. He promptly notified us about the situation and reassured us that he had already contacted Georgia Power to address the issue. His proactive communication and attentiveness to our comfort and safety were truly commendable.
While it's important to note that this RV park is not a resort, I was well aware of this fact before making my reservation. Nevertheless, the serene atmosphere and superb customer service more than made up for any absence of extravagant amenities.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this RV park to anyone seeking a peaceful and secluded retreat near Atlanta. The genuine hospitality of the property manager, coupled with the tranquil surroundings, created an unforgettable experience. I certainly intend to return on my future visits to the area.
I had booked this camp site long time ago for our trip yo Florida. We needed more recreational type of place and decided to leave the site long into our reservation time. we notified the manager that we are leaving and without me eve asking I got a refund. Great customer service sometimes is more important than the service u purchased. The place is nice and quite. However, if u are looking for more fun activities on site, this will not be a good fit. Recommended if u just need to stay overnight
A minial campgroud. Hookup both electric & water. No sewer in the corner site we had. You could reach out & touch your neighbor. It was ok for why we was there for to see folks we knew in Atlanta. We felt safe going away for hrs each day being there. Close to stores & our friends.
Sure, this park is basic. No frills. The roads leading into and inside the park have a few potholes. But oh wow what a nice peaceful and pleasant spot once you get situated.
Jonathan, the campground manager, texted me a day or so before I was scheduled to check in and gave me some really good information as well as a map of where my spot was and went ahead and checked me in in advance. This meant that by the time I showed up all I needed to do was back my rig in and hook everything up!
I didn't use the park's wifi since I have Tmobile Home Internet but the signal looked strong.
Water pressure was good and the electricity was clean.
Only thing is the sewer hookups are at the very back of your spot and Jonathan warned me I would need extra hose and he was right.
I ended up using 40' of sewer line for my 42' fifth wheel.
Spots are a bit close together but everyone around you is super chill and pretty quiet.
There are some long term residents but that's to be expected.
This park is a true diamond in the rough and I definitely will be coming back next time I'm coming to Atlanta with my rig!
