Nice park with a small lake. Only thing is we had to unhook our trailer and leave at office. Back in site.

I am full time RV’ing with reasons to be in the Atlanta area. I have probably stayed here 9 to 10 weeks over the past year. It is safe, beautiful, and well located. So it doesn’t have a pool, bath house, or other “resort” amenities, but you also are not paying for them either. If you’re looking for the vacation camping experience you might go elsewhere but this place is a wonderful serene place to spend for either leisure or if your working in the area.

The sites are rudimentary but adequate, grounds are well kept. You have to call for reservations and they only take check or cash which I find refreshing this day and age.

I feel the value is very good, the staff is very helpful and professional, and will make all attempts to accommodate your needs. I have checked out every campground north of Atlanta and if you want to be near Atlanta this is the park to choose.

We stayed here for 1 month after we moved out from Utah while we were buying a house, and it was perfect for what we needed! The campground has a great location, close to shops, restaurants, etc... The campground itself has some really nice scenery. The lakes are pretty and the trails around either side are very fun to walk. The employees were always kind and helpful. A lot of people seem to be staying there on some sort of extended basis so it feels very friendly around the campground. There seem to be nice lakefront spots for people on shorter stays. Overall, highly recommend!

This was a last minute place to camp so we didn’t have to drive back to Atlanta after concert. It was a nice place, just not my usual idea of camping as your were a little closer to neighbors than I like. Would definitely recommend if in the area.
