Lovely campground. Very quiet during the week. The weekend warriors begin arriving on Thursdays. Spots are very well maintained. The only real downside is that the gates are locked between 10:30pm-7:00 am, with no places to park outside the gate if you need to come or go during that time.
We were campers there. It was a nice lot. Unfortunately I got sick and had to come home. But hubby and family stayed and had a good time.
Greatest campground on lake Lanier. Pretty much every lot has lake views and lake access. The restrooms tend to be pretty clean but every once in a while you’ll find them pretty dirty. Very calm and relaxed campground surrounded by water. Highly recommend.
Large, dog friendly campsites on the water (dock is land locked atm due to water levels) Clean facilities with private showers in one of the bath houses. Peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.
It was my first camping at this location. Since it is a corp of engineers site, the rates are very reasonable compared to a private campground. It was nice and clean. I didn't get the chance to check out the bath house. Many of the sites are waterfront. The site was large. I did see some poison ivy growing on the ground close to my site, so beware walking around. There was a small sandy beach. The water in the lake was low, and it was a bit muddy by the water.
