This is a vintage KOA. It doesn't have some of the services of the more current locations. The attendant was very helpful and went beyond many other managers. The sites and roads are all gravel but they are large and many of the sites are pullthroughs.
We stayed here for an overnight stop on our way down to Florida. When we got there, we were escorted to our spot, which is always nice. They had WiFi, which was pretty decent. They also have free cable TV but it's not the best. The picture is kind of fuzzy. There are full hook-ups but we didn't need to dump before we left. We just used water and electric.
They are conveniently located right off the interstate and the site was very easy to get into. There is plenty of space in between each site, too.
We love staying at KOAs for our overnight stops, especially if they are located just off the highway!
Great stay and great location. I stopped for a quick overnight sleep on my way home from Florida. I arrived after dark, so I didn't get to use the amenities. It was very clean, quiet, and I felt safe. The shower water took a few minutes to heat up, but there was a sign about it, so that was very helpful. Everything was clean and seemed like a great environment.
Before my stay, I had to call to update my reservation. Bob was very helpful and nice.
This will be my new halfway stop on the way home from Florida. Super easy to get on and off the highway.
Wow!!! That's All I Can Say. Bob & Betty, are Amazing. For a small campground, every thing was clean and very well kept. It's easy on and off the freeway. Beautifully wooded and quiet. We had life's difficulties, and Bob was with us every step of the way. We Highly Recommend. Keep up the good work! We'll be back. Thank You Again for All Your Help. I'll end the way I began. WOW!!!
