Beautiful public access to Lake Oconee with nice pods for camping and rving. The staff is friendly and very helpful. This place is well kept or brand new because the bathrooms were clean and the property was well taken care of. It has a nice white sand beach to make you feel like your in the Caribbean or some far away oasis. Just stopped by on the way back from Atlanta but can't wait to come back and camp.
The campground was amazing. The bathrooms were kept very clean. Nice level lots. Clean campsites. Camp host were the best. It was our first trip there. Bobby the camp host was awesome. He explained everything about the campground . Amazing experience. Will definitely go back
Absolutely beautiful camp ground. We have been going here for all of our lives and never had any issues. You will need ant spray due to ants but they don't bite. Bathrooms have been remodeled and are nice.
Note to future campers! PLEASE SPRAY YOUR AREA FOR ANTS.
We stayed our first trip in our new camper over the weekend. Our host recommended we spray for ants. It didn't help but we did make sure NOT to eat or drink sugary drinks inside our camper and we cleaned up and took trash off daily.
We had site 63 and next time we will get site 78. 63 was good but it was too steep to fish off the bank for my uncle who has crippling arthritis.
After Labor day kids are still able to swim but it's at your own risk and from the bank of the lake.
We fished off the pier that we found. The bath houses were clean.
We loved that we were able to see and hear a lot of wildlife like deer and birds.
Overall we will stay here agian.
