From jct I-85 (exit 173) & Hwy 17: Go 3 mi N on Hwy 17.
This place was crowded, bathrooms were not clean, laundry mat was not clean, they busted up all my stuff outside and threw big rocks all over my camper while cutting the little bit of grass that's back there. They charge triple for power. I do not like the owner at all. Lisa is very helpful. Our sewer hook up was broken wouldn't screw in of coarse no one was worried about it. Alot of drama and run down old campers. The smells were aweful. The campers are so close together the neighbors sewer hook up was at my front door. I have nothing good to say about the place except some of the people in there are nice and lisa is helpful other than that I wouldn't even give it a star.cats run loose everywhere. Dogs run loose and pee and poop on your things outsise. This is definately not somewhere to stay and enjoy the place
Really helpful and nice owner Doug. He helped my husband set up to make sure all was working well. Office lady who checked us in was very pleasant also. Small park but had everything we needed. Would stay again very reasonable per night $35 for full 50amp hookups.
A friend and I had made a delivery of a cord of wood for one of the temporary residents. I had never been there before, only passed by a million times.
It's a quaint quiet little place. Not over the top but not summer run down piece of work either. It was just right, right in the middle. The place was well kept. It was fairly easy to navigate around the ground to find the person we were delivering for. Those that we come into contact with were from our if state for the most part. Very friendly and chatty. The whole place just had a small town know your neighbor good vibe about it. Maybe I'll stay there one day if I ever get a camper or you hauler it something. I felt very comfortable there. I see no reason to not recommend it based on my brief visit. It's a place I wouldn't mind taking the family to some time. Be sure you are able to entertain yourself. Movie houses and shopping malls area good little drive away but the nearby small towns that are local are very adequate for most grown ups. There are many state parks well with in driving distance for the youngsters that are great to visit. Tugalo, Victoria Bryant, Hartwell lake and park, Tallulah falls gorge is relatively nearby, Alpine Helen is less than an hour away. Certainly plenty to do and find in any direction you choose to go.
We called late on a Sunday night and needed a place to stay just overnight and the owner was super nice and helpful - he picked up right away. They had a spot open and we were able to hook up and head out early in the morning. We can't thank you enough for accommodating us on a last minute emergency stop!!
From what we could tell, it looked like a lot of people live here but it was clean and half paved which made it a breeze to leave after a night of rain. Thanks to the gentleman buffing his car that night that helped us find our spot!
