Beautiful place has a lake area where u can swim and rent canoes there is trails for hiking picnic areas for grilling also a camp ground
Great place to park. The Hwy is very busy so be careful. Plenty of space and close to good camping north or south. No water sources are close.
Hiked from Hogpen Gap to Unicoi Gap 14.5 mile trek. Was able to
Do it in 5 hours and 26 minutes. A few steep climbs but easily doable.
