Pleasant experience. We chose a campsite off the lake and it was quiet and not much traffic. We were near the bathhouse and got great WIFI reception. The bathrooms were cleaned every morning.

Would we return: Yes but different site.

Conditions: CLEAN and very well managed grounds!

Staff: no impression either way.

Security: lacking. Had 2 "security" gates; 1 always open, 2nd allowed cars to follow right behind you.

Site: #38, 39 & 40 no lake view, but full view & sounds of bathrooms (a/c squeaked entire time), and is where traffic passes.

Spacing: Could open slides and awnings easily with space for sitting outside.

Note: These 3 sites are the only ones with full sewer, 50amp services & electric. All hook-ups in good condition and easy to access.

No beach despite stated.

This is a review for the "Back In, 50/30 Amps, Full Hookups, KOA Patio Deluxe".

Lake front sites are very inviting, clean and well maintained.

Many sites tricky to access but do-able, we could not figure out how anyone could use sites #56 - 60, looks like you'd have to park on the road but no one could pass you. Wednesday PM - Fri AM 10% filled in late May.

My family and I visited Lake Hartwell Campground November 2nd - 5th and the weather was perfect. It would get down into the 40-50 range in the evening and 60-70 range during the day with no rain.

Site 22, Loop W18 which was close to the entrance and on the water with beach. 30/50 and water hookup, which also had a dump station close by. Walking around the campground, there were a lot of great waterfront sites to be honest, but we thought ours checked off all the boxes. I also felt this campground was the perfect size… there was enough space to walk around and explore, but not too big that it felt overwhelming. VERY CLEAN.

We had a pass through site, but it was pretty tight (sharp turn) with a 24’ (30’ total) pull behind travel trailer. Some seem to be much easier than others, so depending on the size of your rig… plan accordingly. Felt the campground seemed pretty safe too, due to setup and access points.

Would highly recommend… pictures for reference, but don’t capture how great this place truly is!
