I stayed there 2 days becouse the place has a path to get the polaski river.
The experience was incredible, I didn't catch any salmon, but I had a lot of fun.
Stayed in one of the cabins. Small but comfortable. More insulated from the cold and noise than I expected. Mini fridge, microwave and 2 bunks provided. Table was big enough for the 3 of us and all our stuff. Not the Ritz.. it's fishing camp and did the trick. The river and some good spots are accessible behind the camp. Neighbors were cool and we had a fire each night in the ring provided. Fish camp at fish camp pricing... Can't complain at all.
25 dollars per person for tent camping. We had a motor home and stayed 2 nights. A full site hookup water, electric, and sewerage cost 75 dollars a night. They do have small cabins here as well. It was quite crowded to me, but it was salmon fishing time. This is a pretty busy time of the year here I was told. And also the salmon spawning on the river caused a traffic jam of shoulder to shoulder fisherman and onlookers alike. So it was crowded in many of the fishing spots we visited this year, but we had a pretty good stay here. Also, this campground has access to the river.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Stoney's Pineville Campground, and I must say it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The sense of community among the fellow campers was truly remarkable.
Overall, Stoney's Pineville Campground exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of friendly fellow campers, easy access to excellent fishing spots, and the serene natural surroundings made it an unforgettable camping experience. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor getaway.
