This has always been one of our favorite RV campgrounds in Utah for the past 20 years, mainly because Forest, the owner, takes good care of us and the bathrooms and showers are always sparkling clean. Lots of space between campers and lots of shade.

Honestly I don't understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars. The owner (Forest) was very accommodating and quick to respond to anything we needed. The location is perfectly situated between Capitol Reef and Goblin Valley.

The campsites themselves were nice. They had screening, a fire pit, and a picnic table. There is plenty of kindling and small pieces of wood for a fire around the campsites.

Water is available at the main cabin area by the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very clean and offered a nice warm shower. You can buy ice (around $3) and firewood (around $4) from the check in area. It is cash only though.

WiFi is available if you call and ask. The range and connection aren't perfect but enough to get by.

Very quiet and clean. The owners are the nicest people we have met. Had power hookup and water fill area and dump station. Showers are clean. Just loved the area. 10 minutes to capital reef visitors center. We will definitely be back.

Street construction started around 5-6am and is 100ft-500ft away depending on your site and it’s extremely loud and disturbing, kinda ruined the space for us in the morning because the tent camping was the closest to the construction … campgrounds are nice enough tho but a little packed tight.. we lucked out only having one other campers in the park, but if the park was full it might not be as comfortable. Bathroom are good, 2 showers per gender if you need and they have some stuff to purchase if you need in the check in shop too. Gas stations are about 20 mins away

We called and got a spot to be there within 30 minutes. Owner met us at the front and took us to our spot. Super easy transaction and we were basically the only ones there. The stars were amazing!! Highly recommend this campground! Wish we could have stayed longer to just relax on our 5 National Park anniversary tour!
