Mystic Hot Springs has campsites in grassy areas under big trees, unique hippie buses, authentic pioneer cabins, full RV hook-ups and pull throughs, hot showers, and clean bathrooms welcome travelers from near and far. We love to say “it’s funky, but functional," and makes for great camping near Salt Lake City. Our unique accommodations are not your typical hotel, but everyone is welcome. Hiking, biking, ATV, and horse trails lead into spectacular canyons near our campgrounds. Soaking passes for our hot springs are included with every stay. Come check it out for yourself!
An extraordinary stop in our RV adventures. The soaking tubs were of various temperatures and we really enjoyed them. There were beautiful views. Only negative is that for $56 for 2 hours, per 2 adults, the paths to the tubs should be in safer condition.
Monroe Hot Springs Resort might be worth a stop if it's conveniently on your route, but I'd caution against planning an extended RV camping stay there. The uneven camping conditions make it less than ideal for RV enthusiasts. Consider it for a quick rest stop, but not a destination for camping.
Mike was an accommodating host. Waded in the late morning and fell in love with the place. EVERYTHING from the renovated buses you can sleep in, to peacocks running around, the huge fish in the pond, and of course the springs. Really nice during the cold months. Will definitely come back, hopefully for a night in one of the buses and maybe a concert next to their stage they have there !
My wife and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. Check in was smooth, the bus was clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were kept clean. The space heaters in the bus kept it comfortably warm, as we were there in January.
The complaints about the path to the spring are comical. There is about an 8' section of trail that is slightly precarious, but if you've ever been hiking anywhere you'll find it's easy to negotiate safely.
The spring itself was refreshing and rejuvenating. We had no problem getting a tub, which was very hot. It was a memorable experience to soak under the starlit night sky. It's rustic, but if you know what to expect you won't be let down.
Keep doing what your doing, Mystic! Your a real one!
I enjoyed my stay at mystic hot springs. The tubs were all a great temperature, not too hot or cold. I used the upper and lower ones. It is a unique setup with the springs placed next to the red rocks. It’s placed in a hill, the view of the valley below is nice from there. I also like that you can soak all night, view of the stars is nice.
In reading other people’s reviews, the bathrooms could use an upgrade. But it is less expensive to stay at than most of the places I go to in Colorado. I stayed in the cabin, it was very nice, fantastic price for what I got. It was nice having towels ready and the beds made up nice, too. I‘ll definitely go back if I find myself in the area.
