Stayed in a cabin at Duke's. Beautiful little cabin, super clean, super comfortable beds, nice porch with table and chairs. Great restaurant! A hidden treasure of a place. We'll stay here again, next time for longer!
This is a pretty great campground. It’s clean, mostly level, and it’s a 30-minute drive to Goblin Valley. It’s got a nice great lawn area and it’s dog friendly, and there’s a nice restaurant as well. I’d stay here again!
We stayed here again in October, about a year later. We were surprised there were no options for RVs not needing hookup, as there was the year before.
The night was warm and naturally everyone was outside which made the noise level unpleasant, especially with customers being parked so close to each other. Street lamps were also quite bright.
Tent camping expensive at $33 a night.
On the plus side, it was nice to have the restaurant and that it opened early, at 7am. Breakfast was good! Restaurant staff friendly and helpful.
Huge park. Almost certain of getting a site. Reasonable prices. Showers and laundry a plus.
Place gets muddy after a rainstorm.
This is not the fault of management, but went to take a shower in the women’s bathroom and the shower was filthy. Someone had showered in their muddy shoes.
The heater wasn’t working. Shower curtains had fallen on the floor. Shower door doesn’t close.
Friendly and helpful staff at the Grill. Food okay.
WiFi only works if you are near the office.
Duke's is a great place to stay in Hanksville, either passing through or exploring the area. It's clean, feels safe, and has good working utilities. We've stayed 3 times. Sarah was very helpful and friendly checking us in. We also enjoy Duke's Slickrock Grill.
I did not stay here, but I used the pay showers. $7, unlimited time. The man was friendly. You get a code for the bathroom. The water was nice and hot, and the pressure was good. The shower was clean. I did drive around the park, and it looks nice. There's a nice grass dog area, which was the first grass we saw all day. They have a waste station, too. There's a bar and grill right out of the park, which would be fun.
