Travel 1/2 mile south of Bicknell, Utah on Highway 24 and then turn east on Forest Road 143 for 1.5 miles to the campground.
Beautiful, small campground. First come, first serve. Clean bathrooms (no showers). ~15 mins from Capitol Reef. Loved our stay here. Nice size sites with picnic table and fire pit. We tent camped and would totally stay again!
Incredible location with proximity to everything you need. Great areas to climb and explore. Bathrooms were cleaner than I expected and it was easy to drive into the park for half day too!
Nice small CG in a scenic red canyon. Paved almost all the way untill CG entrance, then gravel rd. Six single sites, two group sites. Water, toilets and a trash dumpster. 4 stars only due to poor or no cell signal.
Beautiful red rock canyon campground with a couple hikes with one of a kind views in the canyon. Noise does travel in this campground though the sites are pretty private overall. About 15 to 20 minutes from Capitol reef national park. I stayed an extra night it is so beautiful here
I’d give it 10 stars if I could! Beautiful campground. They have water at each site and flush toilets. Think beautiful red cliffs, close to Capital Reef but out of the way of crowds. Perfect!
