This is a great campground and beautiful location. It is family owned and operated, so you get that personal service. The Mill is a historic location and is being restored by the owners. It’s a beautiful place to visit!

The campground is beautiful, with large trees, creek and a historic mill. The owners pickup your personal trash, when you place it out in front of your RV. The grounds are well maintained and there’s lots of areas to walk our dog. It’s also a great place for phot opps.

They have a nice pavilion, if you had visitors and needed a larger place to entertain. They also offer this beautiful location as an event venue. It really is a wonderful place to have a wedding!

If you’re considering staying anywhere in this beautiful part of Georgia, look no further than the Skeenah Campground. The caretakers are truly awesome people that care about your stay on their grounds. Mark, the owner, provided hot coffee on a cold morning, an extra pad for sleeping in my tent, and provided dinner and live music for all guests on Saturday night. Not sure if this happens every weekend but maybe my timing was good. They went above and beyond during my experience staying over the weekend, and I highly recommend stopping by if you plan on camping, if there is availability. Once you arrive, you’ll realize the choice of Skeenah is a no-brainer.

Incredible campground! The owners put in so much work to restore this historical landmark and paid close attention to every detail. The old Mill on site was built in 1838, restored, operating, and the owner will give you a tour for a small donation, so worth it. Each site has water, electric, sewer, and fire pits. Located right in a river in a gorgeous valley. Highly recommend!
