Great waterfall and a short decent hike. Drive up is also very scenic, but probably not intended for a car or any lower vechicle.

Those reviews complaining about the drive and the road should probably not come up to the mountains in general....stick to Disney or something

LOVED THIS HIKE. The service Road took us about 30 minutes to go down…in a minivan…

It was a wide, winding trail with gradual ups and downs. We took a couple of adventurous detours to a couple other falls that we could hear/see off the trail. Loved meeting some AT hikers and hearing their stories. The waterfall space was beautiful and spacious. Our family spent a bit of time on the flat rock laying around. Wish we had brought a hammock or two. When we were heading back to our car we came access’s 50-75 Army Rangers in training. That was pretty awesome. We’ll definitely do this one again next time we’re in the area.

It's a long bumpy ride in but we made it in our mini van. It seemed like there were some serious hikers who were maybe doing longer hikes on the Appalachian Trail and quite a few people primitive camping. We came here for the sole purpose of doing the hike to Long Creek Falls.

There is no designated parking area but there were other cars parked along the road. We measured the trail at a solid mile or even a little further. It took about 20 minutes each way with a toddler walking some and in a carrier some. The hike has some pretty steep areas. Nothing scary, just tiring.

The waterfall is beautiful and it felt so good to put our feet in after working up a sweat on the hike. We sat up at the falls for 30-40 minutes and we had it all to ourselves the whole time. It was magical.

The hike to the waterfall was a truly magical experience. The trail was well-maintained and surrounded by dense woods. The fog and mild rainfall added an ethereal ambiance to the hike making it feel like a fairytale. The sound of the waterfalls was the perfect background music. The trail was not crowded and the weather was perfect for a hike, not too cold and not too hot. The waterfall was a sight to behold, the mist from the waterfall combined with the fog made it look like a scene from a dream. It was a beautiful and peaceful hike, a perfect way to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend this hike to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful waterfall with a little hike
