The people are so super friendly the owner is very nice. Went with a group of good friends. The view pretty. We went kayaking, played volleyball and if course cornhole.

Not your typical place. People actually live here but if you are traveling through the area and need a place for a night or two they have camping spots right on the water front at very affordable rates. The lady on the phone was super nice and friendly, other camping places we called prior were not. That often is a reason for us to avoid a place.

Paradise on the water! Rustic tent sites (with elec and spigot) literally on the shore. We spent 4 lovely nights here. Some wildlife, warm bay water to swim in, fishing and clamming and crabbing. No frills, but a great camp store and friendly, helpful folks. There are many long-term residents who value the quiet and calm of an almost-untouched natural place. Some are characters, all are amiable.

The weather was a little rough but bearable.

The area is pretty and the markets are wonderful !

We have been coming here two years now, we usually tent but have rented the cabin too. If you're a nature lover this is a hidden gem. The sunsets over the water are amazing. The 30/50 Amp sites have been dependable to run our ac unit, and it's convenient that the little campground store is within walking distance and offers groceries and live bait.
