About Campground

Lake Linda is a private 6 acre lake that's located on our family's 40 acre property. We are just 5 minutes from Surf City & Topsail Island, & 20 minutes from both Wilmington & Jacksonville. You'll often see ducks & geese on the lake. Lake Linda is a peaceful place, but conveniently located within a few minutes of food, entertainment, and of course some beautiful beaches.

You can also see what Lake Linda looks like in the winter by watching Season 8 Episode 6 of ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight! Lake Linda's Christmas Lights is a light display surrounding the Lake and synchronized to music. It's our own winter wonderland. In 2021, Lake Linda's Christmas Lights became a 501(c)3 non profit organization. You can also see more of what we do with lights by searching facebook for Lake Linda's Christmas Lights or Surf City-Hampstead Christmas Lights.

Donations appreciated for this free walk around a small "lake" with lots of Christmas lights! Very realistic Santa and a cute snack shop. We go every year!

Lots and lots of Christmas lights and decorations. You can drive through it but there is places where you can park and walk. Best part is it all free but they do take donations.

We always love walking through here!! Of course, you can drive through and change your radio station listed at the beginning and the lights will go along with the music playing.

This is an enjoyable lighting display for the entire family. You can either drive or walk through the lighting display. They also have music that is coordinated with the lights which you can tune into via the FM frequency posted near the entrance. They also have Santa for the kids. Lighting displays like this take lots of time to set up and keep working. Although their is no charge to visit, I encourage you to give a small donation to help with the costs of such production if you can. The people seem very nice. Be aware, there can be lots of traffic on certain nights - so be patient!
