RiverCamp USA is now known as River Country Campground & RV Park. The park has been renovated and upgraded under new ownership and management. Our mission is to create a naturally beautiful and scenic park on the gorgeous New River for making lasting memorable camp experiences for all that visit.

NORTHBOUND: From junction US-221 and NC-113 go North 4 miles; left on South Fork Church 1/2 mile; left on Kings Creek 2 miles. Park entrance of left BEFORE river. SOUTHBOUND: NOTE: DO NOT TAKE US-58 East from Abingdon VA. From Marion, Virginia at junction I-81 and VA-16 follow VA-16 South to US-58 East in Volney continuing on US-58 East approx. 5 miles, then right on VA-93 South. Go 1-1/2 miles to NC-113 South. Continue 1 mile to crossroad then right on Piney Creek School Rd. 1 mile; left on South Fork Church 1/2 mile; right on Kings Creek 2 miles. Park entrance on left BEFORE river.
Beautiful riverside views, clean bath house, well manicured properties. 2nd year in a row I've camped here for the end of a river float trip. Highly recommended.
This campground is under new management.They have fixed up the bathhouse and it looks amazing.The staff is extra friendly.If your looking for an amazing campground on the water.Plus plenty of peace and quiet.I highly recommend!This is our absolute favorite campsite!Don’t let the old reviews scare you.The creepy man is no where around!If you love tubing in the river or just riding around looking at the scenery,this is the best place!
This place now looks amazing the bath houses are incredibly clean beautiful and tiled.... The roads are fabulous and graveled all of the old wires and pipes are gone. And those huge piles of concrete are gone as well... Is fabulous renovations taking place.
OMG!! Hard to believe it is the same place!! The transformation is remarkable! River Country Campground is a wonderful place to get away from it all with the convenience of hot showers and flushing toilets. We stayed from Memorial Day until the end of August 2022 and have reservations to return June-August 2023! See y’all soon!
Came here last weekend with a group of good friends and we had the best time!! Staff so helpful and friendly, all very clean. Beautiful peaceful spot on the river. Highly recommend
