The Fox Den Campsite is nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy the beauty of rural North Carolina right from your canvas tent. This campsite is located on the grounds of Fox Grape Farm which is a 10 acre farm home to three Great Pyrenees dogs and 15+ myotonic goats, commonly known as fainting goats. These animals muscles stiffen when they are startled causing them to fall over, or faint. Also, you will most likely see deer in the evening time in the fields and at the edge of the woods. This campsite offers a bath house with a sink and a joolca shower that has a hot water heater powered by solar. The water is fed by 55 gallon barrels. The main tent has a queen size bed in it and there is room for 2 sleeping bags in the floor. Linens are included for the main tent. We also offer a pop up tent that will sleep up to six people. We have a blow up mattress and manual hand pump. Please note, this tent requires you to set it up and take down. You will need to bring linens for pop up tent.
During the winter months enjoy Zip N Slip Snow tubing park, Wolf Ridge Tubing as well as Wolf Ridge Ski Resort all of which are located one exit away. Mars Hill University is located one exit away as well along with coffee shops and restaurants.
We are located next to Burnsville which has shops, galleries, and restaurants. Burnsville is also home of Mount Mitchell, which is the highest summit in eastern USA. We are 20 minutes away from Asheville, which includes numerous one of a kind restaurants, Grove Park Inn and the Biltmore Estate. We are 5 miles away from Navitat Canopy Adventures which offers zip lining tours.
We are also 20 minutes away from French Broad Adventures which offers white water rafting, zip lining, canyoneering, and climbing walls. Buckhorn stables, which offers horseback riding is 20 minutes away as well.

I just got married here last weekend and everything was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful and the owners are so sweet and accommodating! We will be having our little girls fist birthday there soon. It’s the perfect venue for any occasion and definitely the most affordable! I will definitely recommend Fox Road Farm to everyone!
I had my wedding at this venue a couple weeks ago & IT WAS BEYOND AMAZING!!! I always wanted and envisioned a beautiful rustic wedding with all the boho decor that I love and this place was just literally perfect for that & made all my dreams come true. While I of course still decorated some myself, it certainly wasn’t difficult nor was there too much to be done, considering the venue already brings such beauty, style & detail within itself to create a simplistic, clean yet elegant look. Crystal + Marty made our special day so wonderful, easy and affordable, which was most important to us. Planning a wedding was already so hard & stressful so the fact that our venue was one of the easier, most accommodating factors in our planning!? Ah, it was just such a weightlifting relief off our shoulders. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to host the best day of our lives! We will forever be thankful & grateful to these lovely owners of such a gorgeous venue. It was beyond cool & inspiring to watch the building & growing process from the moment we booked with them and they handled it with such honesty & grace the whole time. And I can personally attest to how ABSOLUTELY amazing & successfully it has all turned out. So congrats to this new, beautiful & unique venue! I’m so lucky that I got to be one of the first of many to experience what this place has to offer and I can’t wait to see all the great things to come!!! YOU GUYS ARE KILLING IT!
This is such a beautiful venue. I had my wedding there and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day or better people to host my day. They will treat you like family and they will make you feel welcomed. They have a big nice bar and the rustic feel is just so perfect. If you are thinking about booking with them I highly recommend.
Got married here last weekend on 09.24.23 and it was amazing. Crystal and Marty, owners, will go above and beyond to make sure your day goes smoothly. I also hired Crystal as my day of coordinator which I highly recommend. This venue is affordable and located in a beautiful, quiet spot- its perfect. Highly recommend!
