After days of research and searching for an affordable campground with beach access, this was It. Now I'll start with, it is quiet, not a busy kids' location. If that is what you are looking for, then there is KOA. But if you want a place that slows you down to enjoy family and beach at a reasonable price. Then this is it! You can not have a fire on the site. At first, I was bummed, but then I was told we could on the beach. Yeah 👏 I always wanted to. It's a small campground. I Love it has less traffic. Everyone was a friendly guest and Owner. The access to the beach is a short walk. I love the privacy, not an open beach, but many people from neighboring campgrounds. Grab your wagon filled with your kid's toys and walk to the beach. If you have a lot of stuff, drive to the end park and walk the STEEP DUNES LOL. Lawd. It was hot, and the leg exercise was in full effect. If you surf or boogie board, the waves and water are the BEST! If you need to buy a boogie board. Dollar General is down the road. How do I know because, yup, I had to try? The price is reasonable: $12-$18. There is an excellent bike sidewalk on the main street to ride along. We didn't notice until our last day. A lot of people were riding their bikes.

The negative drawback was Everything was at least 20-30 min away, depending on the campground location. Other than that, this is a place for couples and families to spend the day on the beach, fire on the beach, or get their flashlights and walk the beach at night to see the crabs that come to shore

. This is a go-to campsite. We can visit here a couple of times during the season. There is some site with full Sun and others with trees. You can not select your site, so bring your canopy. Now, as for some laughs. I'm posting a pic of myself being knocked around by the waves. If you look closely at the one with the figure shade of my husband snapping pictures, you will see a foot of me being pushed back to shore. 🤣🤣🤣

The park is old and run down. The office staff and rude and very unpleasant and unprofessional. There are absolutely no amenities or activities for kids other than a play set. The only thing this park has going for it is the beach access. There are two much nice parks within 1/4 mile. Stay at those and don’t waste your money at the is place.

Awesome campground located on Hwy 12 on the oceanside. Nice amenities, clean sites, camp store, sites for campers or tent camping and Great Prices. Perfect for families and surf fishing. Friendly and helpful staff are ready to answer any questions, inquire at the check in/store staff on site. Walking or biking distance ( less than a mile) to Real watersports for shopping or kite boarding, Mirro's cafe or Waterman's for dining and Dollar General.

This place is a smaller campground but it was perfect for what we needed it for. Nice wide campsites to back our camper into, full hookups for water, power, and sewage. And way cheaper than a lot of campgrounds! The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Made us feel like we were friends. Easy beach access and a nice pool if you just feel like lazing in the sun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.
