Come relax, refresh & rejuvenate your soul next to the soothing sounds of Tulula Creek & Hares Creek. Our family friendly park is located on Hwy. 129 near Robbinsville. Whether you are hiking one of the 600 miles of trails in the Nantahala National Forest, cruising the twisty curves of the Tail of the Dragon, boating on Lake Santeethah, riding the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, or rafting the Nantahala River… we are close by.
Our convenient location makes Hidden Waters an ideal basecamp to set out for daily excursions. Or, just enjoy the day fishing for trout in our creeks, hiking our mountain, or sitting by your campfire. We invite you to come stay with us and enjoy your vacation by slowing down & making memories in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. We hope to see you soon!
This is our 6th time here, we absolutely love this campground. Carter is the new proprietor and he's making wonderful improvements without losing the quaintness of this magical place. Many sites are creekside, the air is cool and Tallulah creek will lull you sleep. We stayed 10 days this time and hated to leave. Got to know Carter and what a great person! He cares about this property and his guests! It's a no frills kind of place, but the bathrooms are almost as clean as Bucees. Treat yourself to a few nights here and you'll thank me later. Much success Carter, we look forward to next year!
This hidden gem was beautiful before but, wow, the new owners are really improving the property. So many upgrades and it's surprisingly more stunning than before. The creek sounds lull you to sleep at night, the fireflies and nightly firepit by the creek a peaceful way to end the day. Off the beaten path but just a short drive to shopping, kayaking and hiking adventures. It was a pleasure talking with Carter, the new owner, and hearing his visions for future upgrades.
This was the best trip we have been on. Mr. Carter is very friendly and he helped us with setting up our site when it came to power hook up and getting the water to work. We had to change sites and he sent videos of a new spot that we would be staying in before getting there as a storm disrupted the original one we picked. We loved the spot and sitting by the fire along the creek was soo relaxing.
We plan on visiting again next Sepetember, but this time it will be for a week! We can’t wait. !
We LOVED Hidden Waters! Beautiful, quite, peaceful! Great sites right on the creek! Spotless bath house! And love that is was a small place. Perfect for real nature lovers! The owner, Carter, is a super nice guy and super helpful! We will definitely be back, many times!
We just had the privilege of staying here last weekend 9/30/23
Hidden treasure is a better name for it. What a peaceful relaxing camping experience. We backed our toy hauler up with the rear deck over the creek and it couldn’t have been better. Small, peaceful and friendly with great water and steady power.
Clean, level and shady sites with fire pits and picnic tables.
Carter, the owner and greeter was a welcome visitor as we settled in and helped us with his local knowledge as we came to ride the mountain roads on our motorcycle and enjoy the local amenities.
Thanks Carter!!
We can wait to visit again!!
