I have no clue why anyone would give this hidden gem 1 star. Its a bit of a drive up into the sticks (most of which were burnt from a previous year) but once you get up high it gets green and glorious. The lake is in a crater and the hike out is a bit steep but I had fun bothering the cutthroat trout. You can stay for 2 weeks at a time and its nice and secluded. If you wanna get away and find some peace and quiet this is a great option.
Great little campground, however the bathrooms were a wreck and desperately needed cleaning spiders had even made there home right under the seat where you sit. Other than that nice little area away from it all.
