Haven't been here in several years. But, I used to go yearly at one time because the In-laws family camp reunions were always there.

We always got a cabin which were quaint but clean. However, the time of year was always peak summer and they don't have AC in their cabins. Be prepared to cook (and not the food, you). The single fan that does run, manages to just blow the hot air around. They come with small kitchenettes stocked with mismatched dishes they guests are expected to clean before leaving, small shower, table, chairs and bed/s.

Always clean though.

Sorry, no TV or radio.

If you're lucky, you might get internet or texting on the front porch of your cabin but, don't expect it in your cabin unless you're up next to the office.

Staying at Shady PInes was really great! The views from the lake spots for the RV's were amazing. All in all, Jake one of the people who ran the place was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to help us back into a smaller site, helped with some extra leveling blocks and continued to just be a great person to work with. Overall, the sites, the place was just what we needed and Jake made it that much better.

This is the place you wanna be to get away from it all. It is about 18 miles off of a hwy located on Conconully Lake. A small private RV resort and a few tent sites. Owner Jake is very nice. You can back your RV or Travel Trailer right up near the shore. Full hookups. The only downside is that the RV sites are all crammed together. If you favor privacy/seclusion then this is not the place to be. Bathroom is outdated but very clean. There are a few cabins to rent out too. Prices are typical affordable.
