Haven't been here in several years. But, I used to go yearly at one time because the In-laws family camp reunions were always there.
We always got a cabin which were quaint but clean. However, the time of year was always peak summer and they don't have AC in their cabins. Be prepared to cook (and not the food, you). The single fan that does run, manages to just blow the hot air around. They come with small kitchenettes stocked with mismatched dishes they guests are expected to clean before leaving, small shower, table, chairs and bed/s.
Always clean though.
Sorry, no TV or radio.
If you're lucky, you might get internet or texting on the front porch of your cabin but, don't expect it in your cabin unless you're up next to the office.
Love this place but not access to sites so much.
One of its principle attractions is its not so big that it ends up being a crowded RV Park, its a good mix of campers that like to really camp.
The other attraction is the creek that your right up next to when you're camping.
Unfortunately, everyone else loves it too, so you have to be here early to get a site.
Great place if you want privacy (in general) from people.
Not so great if you don't like flies and mosquitos. Be sure to bring your repellant and your bite stick for the itch.
As long as you have those, you can have a fairly peaceful camping experience with only a few actual campsites and a well stocked outhouse right near the lake shore.
Be sure to check if campfires are legal before you go as it changes in summer to No Fires.
