This campground is located near the confluence of South Creek and the Twisp River and gives access to several trailheads for day hikes. Enjoy bicycling and scenic drives. This campground gives access to the Twisp River Trail 440 and also gives access to the South Creek Trail 401 and nearby Scatter Creek Trail 427, which both go into the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness
Turn west off State Highway 20 onto paved Okanogan County road #9114 (Twisp River road), that turns into forest road #44, which then turns into forest road #4440, 22 miles northwest of Twisp.
I love this place. family friendly, pet friendly, and just a really nice place to camp.
The animals are feed and they look constantly on you asking for food and has so many 🐀 around 😳
Quiet. Only 4 campsites. You can hear the Twisp river. Mosquitos/bugs obligate you tonuse repelent. Trails are also quiet and empty.
