Located on the west side of Beatrice; 4 blocks north off Court Street on Sumner.
Nicely maintained park/campground, but VERY noisy. The basketball court is next to the camping sites and the local teens play ball well past 11pm. They play music, set off firecrackers, and yell loudly regardless of campers/tenters set up near by. If you want a good night of sleep, I would not recommend staying here.
Great camping venue with nice concrete pads and full hook ups up to 50 amps. Access to concrete bike/walking paths, group pavillion, bathroom/shower house, and fishing in the Big Blue river (that is really brown). 2017: $14 per night w/no reservations. Short drive to downtown Beatrice and shopping or eating.
Took our 3 year old grandaughter. She loved it. A few other children were there as well from the camper area.
What a wonderful campground! This is a destination and not just a stopover. We came for one night and will stay for at least three. Beautiful park and trails. Concrete pads and full hookups all for $20.
