Really disappointed with this KOA. We spent extra to stay at a place with a pool. We drove through 100 degree and arrived after pool had closed. We planned to go swimming this morning b/f we left but the pool was closed. Attendant said it didn't open till 1pm b/c they didn't want guests to overstay the 11a.m checkout time and that they didn't post their pool times (Not sure of that logic). I have 3 crying children super disappointed about this. I Never would have stayed here if we couldn't use the pool. A customer should have use of a KOA's facility during the whole time of their stay. Not happy with the service here. Also, the dog park is only suited for small dogs because it's so small. Our big dog had no room to run. We won't return here. Plus sides: sites have good pull throughs. Grounds are clean like you'd expect with KOA.

New KOA right off the highway. Easy to locate. Very nice clean restrooms and showers. Very secure. A little expensive for the location but it was a good last minute stop after some car trouble. Only wish they would have given us a bit of privacy since the place was almost empty. Instead, they put us between 2 other occupied spots. If we were staying longer I would have asked for a different spot. But from the office you have no idea where they are taking you to park and if it's a crowded spot or not.

We were here September 2023 in our rv. We can tell the owners are really trying to keep this campground in tip top shape. It’s very clean and I appreciate they didn’t jam all of us here in one area and instead spaced us out. The sites are large and level gravel. The showers were large and clean as well as the laundry room. My daughter only major criticism is the pool was drained. It’s 90 degrees outside and we certainly would have used it!

We were charged an extra fee after we left with no explanation. I left a review on the KOA site stating this. They lied and said that they had contacted us and that we had dog messes all over our site. Our puppy was inside our RV or in her pen the whole time and we cleaned up after her. We travel extensively and have stayed at hundreds of campsites without ever having this issue because we always leave sites as good or better than we found them. On this particular trip we stayed at 9 places and this is the only one we had issues with. They also never contacted us in any way. My guess is that they throw that charge on there hoping people won't notice or won't care because it is small enough. I would definitely avoid this park.
