All 100 of our sites are large, grassy, pull-thru, mostly shaded full hookups for RVs and trailers. There is also a large shady tent area for groups.
From I-80, exit 177, take US route 83 north 400 feet to Halligan Drive (I-80 service road). Turn right and go 1/3 of a mile to campground
We had been staying at this park for the past three years, but our recent visit is the last. The park has definitely gone downhill. We called for the bathroom code and NEVER received a call back. Extremely disappointed, can’t believe this is a Good Sam park. Had to register in a phone booth, no one was there to assist. We will be looking for different accommodation going forward.
This is one of the best parks in North Platte. I can tell they have done a lot to the area to keep it updated. I know they’re under renovation at the moment, not sure how long that will last. The pool is down but that’s listed on their website. The bathrooms need redone which I believe is the plan. Sites are clean and easily accessible. Great view of sunset and sunrise, quiet in the mornings and night even close to a cute 24/hr diner. Play ground is outdated but still in good shape for kids to use. Very friendly staff never hesitate to make Accommodations to help make your stay better! Also can’t beat the price. I would give 5 stars but with the bathroom not updated it’s a solid 4.5. 10/10 recommend.
Horrible Site. I think this is their junk yard. Holes, concrete, metal sticking up, rotten wood to park truck on. Couldn't sit outside. We had to watch where we walked because of the holes. I paid $10.00 more for a patio and lawn furniture at a KOA. I recommend KOA or staying elsewhere. The worst site we have ever stayed! Don't get site #14. Do not recommend! Stay elsewhere.
