🤩Nice lake fun for camping, picnics, swimming 🏊 and fishing 🎣
Well kept, and many options for spreading out. I haven't been to all the spots, but we have our spot that the friends and family go to, it's never over crowded, plenty of space to share the water.
I love camping at Pawnee Lake during the week, I work downtown so I’m able to shower at the campground and drive to work in the morning. It’s actually quicker than my commute from Southeast Lincoln and a great way to take advantage of any nice days we happen to get during the week. Plus is not as busy. Shower is quarter operated.
We have a great time when we go camping here. The sunset was absolutely beautiful the day we came. It was so peaceful and quiet we could've stayed longer.
The west beach was closed when I came, but there was parking and a semi-beach on the east side where you could go fishing if you like or out a boat in the water! There were a lot of dead fish in the water and the grass by the boat entrance, which was kind of gross. It was a nice quiet day when I was there. There’s plenty of parking and benches to sit on, while there are also bathrooms around the area.
