Cody Park Campsite has 40 hard-surfaced camping pads open May 1st through October 15th. There are no sewer, water or electrical hook-ups available. There are restroom facilities and potable water available. There is a fee of $10.00 per day for campsites and stays are limited to seven consecutive days.
Located just south of the North Platte river on Highway 83.
Some trees for shade. Locked bathrooms. No outhouse/Port-a-Potty alternative. Go to Cody Oil in town for bathrooms when they're open.
Nice small campground with level nice lots. Some very close together. No power, electric, sewer but at $10 a night it’s nice.
It’s part of the park with a zoo and that was a nice surprise when riding bikes around. Buffalo, elk, deer, geese, peacocks, donkey, llama.
They also have access and are along the river people were swimming and tubing on, kids carnival rides, and we didn’t eat at it but a place to get some food and ice cream. Must’ve been good bc it was BUSY.
Only downside is the traffic. Lots of ppl driving through, and can hear cars on the nearby HWY 83.
