It is the perfect place to get away when you want to hear nothing but river and the birds. River access on top of it all just seals the deal. It is beautifully maintained down to the tiniest details like the ice cube trays were filled before we got here and the beautiful designs they rake into the gravel, it is just serene.

Our stay at Ripple Creek cabins was delightful! Beautiful location, owners were very helpful and friendly, and cabins were clean and very comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom to run, explore and swim in the creek. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I hope to return.

What a wonderful birthday! My wife set us up at Ripple Creek Cabins June 29-July 1, 2018, as a 75th birthday present. We had cabin 3 and it was wonderful. Surrounded by trees that kept the heat down. The cabins were very clean and fully equipped. The locale was pleasantly quiet. The pool in the creek was cool and refreshing and very relaxing. The grounds were well-kept and always clean. We fed the pony and made friends with the cat and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The owners of this property are wonderful. I had to work in the area in November with no options for motels. I was talking to a clerk at a grocery store and asked if she knew anywhere in the area to stay .She had me call Ripple Creek saying they were one of the few if any cabin rentals open year round. I called and was greeted by a friendly voice. They gave me directions and said cabin would be ready for me. The cabin was perfect . It was clean and inviting and the heat was on so is was warm as well. Since then I have stayed there for a week having to work in the area on the same job. They have been a lifesaver as well giving me snow reports letting me know when a good time to come to the area was. I live 2.5 hrs away, and they even w eff not out of there way to email me pictures of the snow conditions. THANK YOU !

If I could give them 6 stars I would . Ripple Creek and staff are top notch.

I have lived in Northern CA my whole life, and camped at Trinity Lake as a kid. 40 years later I stumbled across this jewel and I am absolutely heartbroken that I never knew about it before. My now teenage children would have LOVED coming here as little kids and while Ioved my stay, I am so disappointed with time missed out on. My husband and I wanted a quick one night get away, so we booked the Honeymoon Cabin. Unfortunately we left a little late and arrived at dusk. Directions given were very good and we found it easily. While the pictures show a cute cabin, I have to say what I walked into exceeded my expectations and I was thrilled. This is not a fancy, luxurious cabin. This is a small, quaint, cozy little place that makes you feel you are back in time. It is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven and microwave. I love that there's no TV. The Honeymoon cabin has an exceptional location with the creek in the front yard, as well as a nice area for barbecuing, or playing games. Because we arrived late and it was in February, very cold, we ate a quick dinner. We then took the front porch chairs to the lawn, turned off the lights and looked up at the stars which were beautiful. My husband made a fire in the potbelly stove, and we played cards on the bed. It was a great evening. We were plenty warm. The bathroom has a heat lamp which is great for after a shower. The shower stall was on the small side, I thought. Also, for some strange reason there were a lot of very large flies in the bathroom which I thought was odd for the winter. The cabin is equipped with a fly swatter which was handy. I killed at least 4 but they kept coming from somewhere. I only saw them in the bathroom. 10 am checkout is quite early, it would be nice to have a bit more time to explore. There was a little pathway that led to a small dock and sitting area with patio chairs by the creek. Looked like a great place to be in summer! My only real complaint about Ripple Creek Cabins is the week long requirement for rental in summer. Some of us can't realistically do that, and it is disappointing to be disadvantaged for it. However, from a business standpoint I can see how that makes sense for them. But I would have loved to bring my kids out for 4 days to enjoy the simplicity and beauty. If you have the chance, definitely visit this place. And if you have kids, bring them to visit while they are young enough to enjoy and appreciate it!
